Standard operation of the screw compressor unit is an important step to ensure the good operation and long service life of the unit. The steps are listed below:
1. Filled with refrigerant gas.
The screw compressor unit needs to be filled with refrigerant on site. The amount and type of refrigerant must comply with the regulations. Before filling, the amount of refrigerant should be sufficient.
In these cases, when the refrigerant charge is insufficient, it will lead to insufficient cooling capacity. When the refrigerant charge is too large, it will not only increase the cost but also have a negative impact on the operating energy consumption.
2. Operation
After the refrigerant is filled, we need to power on the unit to operate and set it. During operation, pay attention to the following matters.
(1) Check whether all valves on the compressor unit are fully open. Especially the exhaust valve.
(2) For water-cooled or chilled water units, open the condenser water valve and evaporator water valve. The water flow should be in accordance with the factory settings.
(3) Before the unit is powered on, confirm whether the local power supply is normal.
(4) Before starting the unit, please read the instruction manual carefully.
(5) Check the unit parameters according to the manual to see if they are normal.
(6) Write down the operating parameters
(7) If the unit is operating abnormally, stop the unit immediately.
